I’m sorry to be the bearer of bad news but the cost of Google Chrome Device Management Licences is increasing, effective from 9th March 2021. Having delayed the price increase by over a year now to help relieve financial constraints on schools due to the pandemic, Google are now pressing ahead with the increase of £11 per device.
But, did you know that your school can purchase licences now and activate them later? With that in mind, I would encourage you to beat the price increase today and order as soon as possible. Especially if you're planning on purchasing more Chromebook’s this academic year.
It's not all doom and gloom though, as I’m delighted to announce that VeryPC are now an official Google for Education partner. What does this mean for me, I hear you shout? Well, in short it means as an authorised reseller we can directly provide you with your Chrome Management licences.
I know it can get quite confusing when it comes to which licence does what and that's where our new webpage comes into play (thanks Marketing team!). You'll be able to distinguish the difference between the two licences and get an understanding of the features and benefits. But don’t worry I’m still only a phone call away to answer any of your burning questions.
To order your licences at the existing rates and for them to be processed in time, the cut off for last orders will be Friday 5th March. We cannot guarantee orders received after this time will be fulfilled at the old pricing so do get in touch before it's too late.
