How we’re supporting schools throughout the latest COVID-19 lockdown

Schools are once again closed, remote learning is becoming the “new normal” for most students and there’s no end in sight for the pandemic just yet. Here at VeryPC, we thought we’d give you a quick update on how we’re helping to support schools throughout ‘Lockdown 3.0’ and ensuring that educating for a better tomorrow continues.
Our increased buying power over recent years and access to stock from leading brands such as ASUS, Dell, HP and Lenovo has allowed us to play a vital role in providing mobile devices to schools throughout the pandemic. In January 2021 alone, we sold over 2,500 Chromebooks into the education sector as demand once again sky rocketed.
At the time of writing, we’ve no idea when schools will be returning to some sort of normality but we’re proud to be doing our bit to ensure that students are continuing to learn, no matter their location. Chromebooks have been thriving within the education sector for a while now but the ease of use, simplicity and familiarity of Chrome OS has seen them thrive throughout the pandemic as schools scramble to get hold of mobile devices.
Of course, it’s not just Chromebooks. Demand for Windows devices have also risen and we’re doing everything in our power to get laptops out to you as quick as possible. It’s worth noting that we only quote you on devices we have in stock or we know are on a pallet and reaching us imminently. Taking your purchase order and running just isn’t our style.
